As part of a statewide effort to increase the safety of children, CCS - Sierra Vista provides Parent Aide Services to families in Cochise, Santa Cruz, Graham, Greenlee and Gila Counties. Our staff supervises court-ordered visits between parents and their children who have been removed from the home. Visits are intended to ensure the safety of the children and document how well the parent is able to interact with each child. As part of the visits, parents may also receive training regarding responsible parenting. The visits are an important step to help parents and children stay connected while parents work towards reunification.
CCS - Sierra Vista also provides private-pay visitation services for those who are not involved with the Department of Child Safety and Family Services, but need an authorized non-profit to provide court-ordered supervision and intervention services.
The Parent Aide Program is part of Arizona Partnership for Children, LLC (AzPaC) and is funded by the State of Arizona.
How to participate:
Service is available through referral from Department of Child Safety case managers only.
Visits can take place at the CCS office or in the community.
